Thirdly - The performance in the editor was good, the menus were easily accessible and smooth (as usual). But, when I loaded a large site of mine which I use for my text generation testing, the result was not at all impressive. The drag and drop was so sluggish I had to guess where I was putting things or wait a few seconds for the editor to catch up.

Now I know it is a bit extreme; but unfortunately there are people like me who do push things to their limits.

Your the first challenge is because we just made an update to warzone

so it should be fixed in terms of login...

will pass the rest of the feedback to the programmers for them to fix -
that's what you fab pioneers are for

Tested my site on the Beta version and it looked and acted as expected, load time seemed a little faster. When I do a preview it had "Badly-compiled SWF" in the top left hand corner. In general Wix kicks ass, although I do agree with some posters that the support is a little on the lean side. Overall I have been impressed and amazed at the quality of Wix.

I LOVE that videos can now play in HQ and HD. I've been waiting for better quality in videos for a while now. When I tested "warzone" everything was fine. Can't wait until it launches!

Hey dkillahster@gmail.com, the HTML module is not really scheduled to go up with Warzone, but I'm interested in what other options would you like to see with the component.
Lock and remove will be available elsewhere, where it's available for every component (the floating menu, the top menus etc), but since the HTML is impervious to flash we can't provide nifty stuff like effects, behaviors etc like we can for our native flash components.

However, we may have overlooked options that you would like to have available. Please let me know if that's the case.

Not only does beta have problems, but my existing sites no longer work the way they used to before beta.

Examples:

"Expand on Roll" now shrinks and moves left on roll. (Wix.com - Website built by John C Weber Design)

None of my sites "youtube video" links works any longer (all sites) (displays "0%" and freezes there)
although they play fine on "youtube" direct

Autoplay no longer works, even if I change it to manual play, no audio/video
