Default Hmtl

the html is good but i would prefer more of a layout like the free html program programmers notepad, and the head, body bit etc to be shown so it could be altered. and will there be some links like a counter just to quick add, and others such as a scrolling marquee.

Default Google Calander

I inserted a google calander on the appointments page of a template. It seems to work for the most part, but does not seem to hold its position on the page (mini-page). If I put it in the center, it shows up in the bottom left hand side when pre-veiewed and in published view. Here is the link http://www.labs.wix.com/mcclure/ptaok

Thanks,

Jason

This new Html option is wicked.
I can now get site stats from external sources.
I used this code
<script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">
</script>
<script type="text/javascript">
_uacct = "UA-2534404-1";
urchinTracker();
</script>

and it allows me to use the google analytics software. Thanks guys

I have tried the feature and it looks amazing. The problem seems to be in the placement. I have set it in many different spots and it seems to "float" to where ever it wants to go. The html I placed in was just a simple google map.

Other than that issue I think it really has great potential.

Seems to work fairly well, but here are a couple of bugs.
  • As mentioned above, placement of HTML container in the editor does not match what is seen in preview or published site. It takes a bit to get it lined up where it needs to be.
  • I see a message in the upper lefthand corner of the preview that reads:"badly-compiled swf"
  • It would be beneficial to see entered HTML in the container - it would help in editing after loading to Wix
  • Clicking to the HTML page requires going back to the link twice... it will open the flash content of the page on the first click, but you must return to the button again to get the HTML to open. When the HTML content shows, the flash content does not... aaarrrggggg!!! :-)
My test site is <<HERE>>

Enter and click the "add to cart" button. If you do not see a picture, text, and a dropdown menu, click the "keep shopping" button. You will return to the first page. Click on "add to cart" again and it should show all of the content.

Cool All HTML?

Does this support all HTML? Like embedding scripts. I tried using Nabbles Forums and blog but nothing showed up. I really think Nabble plus Wix can make really great sites.
Nabble - Free forum & other embeddable apps

Here's the link to the test site.

Talking Ah I got it now

You have to make the HTML widget as big as possible for it to work

It works perfectly

Thumbs up Minor problem

Minor problem nothing big it's just the parts that are not HTML show up as codes instead
Note: put javascript and php in the embedding in the future

Also random codes appear after the physical item is put in place
