--You build a site, --the only way you can see it in a browser tab is because it exists. ---Maybe I'm not understanding your question--?

Ok, let me be more clear.

Ah, I understand your question now - I think. You're asking if the individual page titles will show in the browser, so that after the front page which is your domain name, will it then show "domain-name/contact" "domain-name/photos" etc. If that's your question - no--On Wix sites the one URL remains the same no matter what page a visitor is on. That's why at present we are unable to direct people to one specific page.

So Page titles are very important for seo, why would wix not allow page titles - seems very short sighted!

Not sure the lack of page titles is short sighted, more a technical issue.

Wix sites are flash based, not page based. As far as your browser is concerned it is displaying a single flash event. This event contains your site and it“s “pages“.

Its a trade off between flexibility of a flash based site versus HTML based sites.

If this is a limitation you cannot live with then maybe wix is not the best choice for you. For my needs the features and professionalism wix offers fit. I can live with the basic search engine optimisation techniques that are available (Site title, keywords).

all the best,

R
