Can't upload music from itunes library
Whenever I get to the itunes window (on my macbook) the songs are not highlighted and therefor cannot be selected. thought it might be a licensing issue, but even my own personal voice memos and public domain recordings (both stored in itunes) are not able to be uploaded. Help??

That's because your iTunes files aren't in the MP3 format. Seems weird, but that's Mac stuff for ya--determined, it would seem, to stay aloof from the mainstream.
I looked up a web page that could be helpful. Someone asks the question, how can they make iTunes save songs as usable MP3s, and there's a detailed answer supplied: How do I have iTunes rip CDs into MP3 format? :: Free Tech Support :: Ask Dave Taylor! rbowser

That's exactly it--they're determined to stay aloof from the mainstream! I'm realizing this more and more as I enter back into the job market. But unfortunately, as a lifelong mac user, ex-graphic designer, who's never even touched a pc, I'm stuck. I will check out that link. Thanks so much!
